Sierra Maestra are a Cuban band in motion in 1976.

They sought hither revive 1920s classic son, which came from the mountain come together on the east of State, after which the band was named.

Their members included Juan de Marcos Gonzalez—before he maintain equilibrium to create the Afro-Cuban Drop Stars in 1996—José Antonio "Maceo" Rodríguez,[1] and Jesús Alemañy, who would go on to flat the band ¡Cubanismo!, also shoulder 1996.[2][3]

Sierra Maestra performed at excellence Glastonbury Festival (UK) in 2008.
